Our story
Bayt Al Hiba is a home studio in Dubai. Not a warehouse, not a production line — a table, a set of moulds, a cutting machine, and a lot of drying time.

The name
بيت الهبة is close to a description of the work itself. A hiba is something given freely rather than sold — a gift in the older sense of the word. Bayt is a house, a home.
That is the whole idea: gifts made in a home, meant to be given, carrying something of the person who chose them.
Why we do it
It is easy to buy something nice. It is harder to give something that could only have been for one person — their name, their date, their colours, the joke only they would understand.
Those are the gifts that end up on a shelf years later, and they are the only kind we make.
Behind the work
Bayt Al Hiba means the house of the gift. That is close to how we work — this is a home studio, not a factory floor, and every piece is made in the same few square metres.
Resin is mixed and poured by hand. Flowers are placed one at a time. Lettering is cut, weeded and applied without a production line anywhere in sight. It is slower, and it means we can change something for you halfway through if you ask.
When your gift is finished, it is wrapped at the same table it was made on.

The process
Four stages, and you are in the conversation for all of them.
It usually starts with a message. A photo, a name, an occasion, sometimes only a colour and a feeling.
We lay it out — the lettering, the balance, where the florals sit — and send it to you before anything is cut or poured.
Resin is mixed and poured, flowers are placed one at a time, lettering is cut and weeded by hand. Then it is left to set in its own time.
Sanded, cleaned, checked in daylight, and wrapped at the same table it was made on.
What we believe
Every piece is made after it is ordered, by hand, in small numbers. If that means you wait a little longer, we would rather tell you that up front.
A name spelled the way she actually spells it. The date that only two people remember. The colour from the invitation. That is where the value sits.
If a deadline is too tight or an idea will not work in resin, we will say so. A no given early is worth more than a yes that disappoints.
There is no cart on this website on purpose. Gifts like these need a back and forth, and that is better done in a chat than in a form.
Behind the scenes
Photographs from the studio go here as we take them.

Say hello
Tell us who it is for and what you have in mind. A photo, a sketch or a few words is enough to start.
